A 20-minute Discovery Call (optional but recommended) – A discussion to understand your questionnaire answers and get to know you more personally. From this, we will establish a brief that I will then go and begin crafting.

Holocene’s Origin
Most people travel to escape their lives. My clients travel to expand them.
I founded Holocene after a decade of living abroad in China and the Middle East, very far from my home in England. In that time, I backpacked to 80 countries. I didn't just see the world, I lived it.
Though a teacher by profession with a Masters Degree, my "education" wasn't found in classrooms. It was accumulated bit by bit by years of exposure and challenge. From solo trekking to Everest Base Camp in the dead of winter, crossing Vietnam on a $200 motorbike with a stranger or rafting the mighty Zambezi. I’ve spent months away from home, travelling on local buses, staying in remote homestays, and developing a cultural fluency that can't be bought.
My goal with Holocene is to utilise my first-hand experiences and knowledge to create personalised experiences that will open up a yearning inside you to go beyond your usual travel destinations and experiences. There are no package tours here.
I’m not here to help you "see" a country, but to live it. I want to give you the kind of stories that don't just fill a photo album, but become stories to tell your grandkids, long after the tan has faded.

With the Gold experience, I follow these steps: I delve into what makes you tick, learn how much you’re willing to go beyond your typical travel style, discuss details of where and when you want to go, and what is most important to you. Once we agree on a brief, I then create a bespoke itinerary just for you and call you to walk you through it.

Before I begin making your custom itinerary, we will have already had a discovery call and discussed your questionnaire and agreed on a brief. That way, you know what your final itinerary will include. The entire itinerary is built for your wants and desires whilst combining my own experience and knowledge.
